The 100x Tips for Holistic WellBeing in Life & Work

Health Happiness and Harmony for Holistic Life & Work

Happiness is not a destination. It is an innate skill – and like all other skills, it can be learned, practised and mastered.

100xWisdom:
“Sukham anantam – infinite happiness – is the true nature of the Self, the Atman, which is always present beneath all experience.” ~ Mandukya Upanishad.
Modern positive psychology (Sonja Lyubomirsky) confirms: 50% of happiness is genetic set point, 10% is circumstances, and 40% is within our control through intentional practices.

100xReality:
You keep postponing happiness to a future that never quite arrives: “I will be happy when I get the promotion, when the EMI is paid off, when my children finish school, when I finally take that holiday.” Life passes in the waiting room of deferred joy.

100xShift:
FROM: “I will be happy when…” → TO: “Happiness is a practice I choose and cultivate – right here, in this imperfect, beautiful, ordinary moment”

100xPractice:
The Happiness Inventory: Take 10 minutes right now – not later. Write 10 things that genuinely make you happy today, without needing anything to change. Small things count: a cup of chai, a specific friend’s voice, a certain song, the morning sky, your pet, a book. Post this list where you will see it. Each morning, choose at least one item to intentionally experience that day.

100xReflection:
What does happiness actually feel like for me – not the concept, but the physical sensation in my body? When do I feel it most? What have I been waiting for in order to allow myself to be happy? Is there anything truly stopping me from choosing a moment of genuine joy right now?

100xAffirmation:
Happiness is already within me. I do not wait for it – I practise it. Today, I choose joy.
